Meet Lesley, she is a chartered physiotherapist, MCSP and is registered with the HCPC.

After qualifying from Sheffield Hallam University in 1997 she has gained experience with positions within the NHS and private practice, gaining a broad range of knowledge and experience. She has most recently has worked with the Specialist falls team and in Parkinson’s disease clinics providing high quality care.

In recent years, Lesley has also worked in private practice. She uses both her clinical experience and the latest research to assess and diagnose a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders. She delivers focused treatments using manual therapy, prescribed self-management advice and education to prevent reoccurrence.
Away from the clinic, Lesley is working on an Intermediate care ward at a local hospital and treating older patients with a wide range of complex conditions.

Her specialist experience includes:

  • Orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including post fracture and joint replacement rehabilitation and arthritis.
  • Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions
  • Regaining balance and confidence after falls
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation

Away from her clinical commitments and in her spare time; Lesley enjoys walking her 2 dogs and spending time with her family. She also enjoys well-earned breaks away in her caravan.
