Strength Testing
At Parker & Jones, we are able to give you the opportunity to integrate Dynamo Strength Testing into your physiotherapy program;it can be incredibly useful for patients recovering from post-operative procedures or sports injuries. This advanced, evidence-based approach helps us design personalised rehabilitation plans tailored to your unique needs.
What is Dynamo Strength Testing?
Dynamo Strength Testing measures the force your muscles can produce, providing precise data about your strength, imbalances, and progress over time. Unlike traditional methods, it offers an objective, quantifiable way to assess your recovery journey, allowing us to pinpoint areas needing extra attention.
Why Combine Dynamo Strength Testing with Physiotherapy?
-
Objective Insights for Personalised Care
Dynamo testing takes the guesswork out of rehabilitation. By identifying specific weaknesses or asymmetries, we can focus your physiotherapy sessions on the areas that matter most. This ensures your recovery is efficient and targeted, saving time and effort. -
Tracking Progress Over Time
Recovery from surgery or sports injuries often involves gradual improvements. Dynamo testing allows us to monitor your strength gains at every stage, keeping you motivated and ensuring your program evolves with your needs. -
Injury Prevention Through Balance Assessment
Strength imbalances are a leading cause of re-injury. Dynamo testing highlights these disparities early, allowing us to correct them through tailored exercises and techniques, reducing the risk of setbacks. -
Optimized Post-Op Recovery
For post-operative patients, regaining strength safely is essential. Dynamo testing ensures you’re working within safe limits while progressively rebuilding strength, helping you return to daily activities and sports faster and more confidently. -
Enhanced Athletic Performance
For athletes recovering from injuries, regaining pre-injury performance levels is critical. Dynamo testing helps identify the exact areas to strengthen, ensuring your rehabilitation is as precise and efficient as your training.
Long-Term Benefits of Dynamo Strength Testing
Integrating Dynamo Strength Testing into your physiotherapy plan offers more than just recovery—it sets you up for long-term success. By addressing weaknesses, improving balance, and building strength, you can maintain an active, pain-free lifestyle and reduce the likelihood of future injuries.
At Parker & Jones, we’re dedicated to providing innovative, effective care that empowers you to achieve your health and performance goals. Let us help you recover stronger with Dynamo Strength Testing.
How does it work?
Dynamo testing is a great tool to use at intervals. Patients interested in using this innovative technology can book a dynamo inclusive initial physiotherapy session. This will include a full case history, hands on treatment, exercise prescription and dynamo strength testing. You will be sent a report of these outcomes for your reference. Further sessions including readings will be discussed and booked at an interval that your therapist feels will be useful. This will usually be at a time where meaningful differences in your outcomes will be expected. You will always be sent your results to compare your previous results. Your recovery and prescribed exercises will be representative of the measures that are taken from your strength testing.
How to Book?
This service is currently available during physiotherapy sessions with Sam Watson, and (for now) only available at our Brecks Clinic. Please do get in touch with any further questions before booking.
