Sam is a senior physiotherapist with 8 years experience in neuromuskuloskeletal and sports physiotherapy. Sam has worked in private practice ever since qualifying in 2012. He has worked in occupational health, medico-legal clinics, musculoskeletal outpatient, and sports injury clinics. Currently Sam also works as a first contact practitioner assessing and triaging complex patients within the NHS. He has an avid interest in Sports Physiotherapy, Sports Medicine and elite performance. Sam has worked with professional squash players and footballers.

Sam believes firmly in finding and treating the root cause of a problem and not just treating the symptoms. He uses an array of manual therapy techniques to reduce pain and restore function alongside tailored home exercise programmes for long term recovery. He is also trained in the use of Compex muscle stimulation and acupuncture, he is an advanced trainer for Compex and is registered with the Acupuncture Associations of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).

Sam represented Yorkshire Badminton at youth level and currently plays in local leagues; he has a second degree black belt in Jiu Jitsu. When not playing sport, he enjoys walking in the countryside and exploring new places.
